Diane Tharp

I am a watercolor artist who is entranced by nature and the amazing world we live in. I also love whimsy and my paintings often tell a story. I love incorporating birds and other animals in unusual or humorous settings. My style is realistic with bold color and value, which is often unusual in watercolor. I also have the blessing to live in the country in the beautiful foothills of Auburn, CA. My family has many animals including alpacas, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, a llama, 2 cats and 4 mastiffs! All this including the natural wildlife that wanders through our property. There is no end to the inspiration for me as an artist!
