Saturday, May 16 – Clover Valley Preserves, 3pm-7pm REGISTER HERE
Join us for a plein air art and photography outing! Placer Artists Tour and Placer Land Trust are partnering for these two opportunities to create art in the outdoors. This will be a self-guided stroll either Big Hill Preserve or Laursen Bear River Preserve. Seek out the oak woodlands and granite outcroppings or wildflowers in sprawling meadows to sketch, paint, and photograph the beauty that catches your eye.
This is a free event; however, donations help make these activities possible! We suggest a donation of $10 per person or $25 for a family. You can donate during registration, and we’re happy to accept cash or a check at the event in an envelope with your name written on it.

Your Year End Giving Supports the Arts in Placer County
As the holidays approach, the Placer Artists Tour team extends heartfelt gratitude for the generous community support that helps us thrive. Thousands joined us in November to meet local artists, explore galleries, and visit art schools that nurture the next generation of creators.
Your year-end donation keeps this momentum strong, and we deeply appreciate everyone who contributes during this season.

We encourage year-end gifts to the Joanne K. Neft New & Emerging Artists Fund. This fund provides mentoring and fee reductions to help artists enhance their career development.
“I felt the support of the Placer Artists Tour for artists who have not had a lot of experience showing their work before. It is hard to take the first step for the first time–emotionally and financially.” – Kristin Aplin
We are pleased to introduce you to Kristin Aplin, one of the recipients of the 2024 Joanne K. Neft New & Emerging Artists Fund.
