I am a self taught Artist and have been painting since age 13. My goal is to capture a moment and feeling as if you were there, the mood expanded by colors, colors, colors…. Can there ever be enough colors.
My Paintings start with an inspiration, then imagination with many ideas in my head coming together. I like to start with one subject, and build around that establishing a mood, the colors I see evolving and something magical about to happen. I usually compose this in my head first and then a photoshop layout, which allows me to see it many different ways. Then it is sketched onto the canvas where it begins to grow into what it will eventually be. For that I venture out into what I call “the universe”, which is where Art comes from. But that is just my belief …..
