About

Nature provides an endless source of inspiration for my photography. I am captivated by the close observation of light, patterns, and colors, often seeking out the subtle qualities that might be overlooked by others—whether it’s the unexpected play of shadows, intriguing color interactions, or the movement and stillness of the natural world. My work frequently features flora and fauna, with recent images exploring abstract water reflections. Many of my photographs evoke a sense of peace, a calm that only nature can offer. My hope is that my work brings viewers a feeling of tranquility and a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them.

My pursuit for images begins as I explore nature. I search high and low for something special in the lighting, color, shadows, and composition that draws my attention. While on a photoshoot nearby, I spotted some lichen in shades of yellow and red that I had not seen before. I had to climb and carefully prop myself against the cliffside to get as close as possible to the lichen in order to get the shot. During photoshoots, I am seeking that special quality found through observation of the world around me.
