Persimmon Art Gallery
A charming gallery located in the heart of downtown Auburn — Persimmon!
Persimmon Art Gallery is an artist owned and operated gallery with fine art, as well as gifts, by local artists. The gallery was originally established in October 2020 at their first location next to Awful Annie’s on Lincoln Way in Auburn. The gallery recently relocated to 900 Lincoln Way, into the historical Tahoe Club Building. This charming structure was built in 1914 as a gentlemen’s club. In recent years it housed a real estate company until the space became available in October of 2024.
Every other month, Persimmon holds a reception showcasing two member artists who give short presentations and/or demonstrations of their art mediums.
Persimmon Art Gallery also has a designated classroom and offers art classes in various mediums. Currently they are: acrylic painting, glass mosaic, quilling, ceramics, watercolor painting, felting, whimsical chick gourds, and resin jewelry. You can sign up for classes online or come in and sign up. Stop by and treat your senses to beautiful and creative artworks from local artists!
