Painting by intuition has required me to enter a never ending dance to balance both how a piece should feel and how I can improve it through technical skills. When I look at the natural world around me, I see how impactful subtle changes can be. No two flowers or trees are the exact same; the ocean and sky are ever changing by nearly every few minutes. When painting, the color schemes evolve subconsciously, taking me from vibrant greens to stormy greys.

My hope is that whatever I create, it can bring either a moment of calming peace or intriguing thought to whoever stops to view it.
