Mary T. Pivetti

Mary T. Pivetti is a watercolor and mixed-media artist based in Auburn, California, with a career spanning over three decades in both visual arts and arts education. In her expressive, nature-inspired works, Mary’s paintings reflect the serene beauty of the Sierra foothills through a loose, intuitive, and organic style. Her watercolor compositions are recognized for their ethereal quality and emotional depth, capturing the ever-changing spirit of the natural world.

In addition to her work as a practicing artist, Mary is a seasoned arts educator and community leader. She has taught numerous workshops and classes throughout Placer County, focusing on watercolor technique and creative exploration, and the meditative benefits of artistic practice.
Beyond her studio, Mary is a civic leader in the regional arts scene. As Chair of the Auburn Art Walk and a Commissioner for the City of Auburn Arts Commission, she champions public art and community engagement while mentoring emerging artists and organizing cultural events.
