Livia Kerr
Art, for me, is a journey of exploration and discovery, a deep connection to the world around me. Inspired by the beauty of nature, the complexities of human emotion, and the countless experiences that shape our lives, I find myself constantly drawn to the canvas, eager to translate these inspirations into art in different shapes and forms.
When I create, I liberate color and texture from their external constraints, allowing them to become the focal point of my work. It’s a process of immersion, a deep dive into the raw essence of emotion and expression.
In my artistic journey, I embrace the unknown. Uncertain of where each stroke of my brush or placement of mosaic piece will lead, I allow inspiration and emotion to guide me. Whether experimenting with slate mosaics or painting with oil and acrylic on canvas, I trust in the process, allowing it to lead me to the concept I dream of. My abstract mosaics are now available at Auburn Old Town Gallery.
