Painting with watercolor allows me to capture a “moment in time”. It also helps me capture my own personal and emotional response to that moment.

I love painting flowers, birds and landscapes. I also enjoy the challenge of painting other subjects that I’ve never painted before.

I have taken so many photographs over the years. My photos from the 4 years I lived in Europe; my travels to South Korea; my travel in the United States; and my own backyard flowers and visiting birds, provides me with lots of inspiration for creating my paintings.

If I don’t have a plan or an idea for my next painting, I just look through my photos and one of them always jumps out saying, “Paint me next!”.
