Jan Miller

From her studio at the Packing Shed in Newcastle, California, Jan creates artwork to show her views and visual perspectives of the world and its beauty. She works in multiple mediums, but pastels have been her greatest enjoyment and challenge. Her work has been exhibited and received awards in multiple international exhibitions, including the Pastel Society of the West Coast, Pastel Guild of Europe and Red Rock Pastel Society.

In addition to creating paintings, Jan also enjoys introducing the world of pastel painting in classes taught at her studio. Jan is a Signature Artist with Pastel Society of the West Coast, Pastel Artists of Oregon and Master Painter with Northern California Arts. Her work can be seen at her website www.jymillerfineart.com.
