Linda Hoschler
Linda Hoschler has been a glass artist and jewelry maker for over 25 years.
Glass is my medium. Kiln forming is my passion. The emphasis in my studio is on creativity and innovation. Creating one-of-a-kind glass art, I am an abstract glass artist, inspired by road trips and nature. Fascinated by the interactions of color, intense heat, light, shape, texture, chemical reactions and inclusions, my glass creating style is continually evolving as I innovate with glass art and the process.
Linda likes to experiment with a variety of organic and non-organic items to combine with her glass art forming and creating process and as she points out, you may wonder what is in an inclusion in one of her pieces of art. Kiln forming glass has about 30 steps of grinding, cutting, polishing with tools and a kiln. Shimmering with color, art glass deserves the spotlight in your home.
Linda is a member of Rocklin Fine Arts, Blue Line Arts, Art League of Lincoln, The Verge, Crocker Art Museum, and the Glass Art Society. She also presents her work at Art League of Lincoln Gift Shop, Rocklin Fine Arts, Sac Open Studios Tour, Placer Artists Tour and the ACAI gallery. And if that is not enough, she also serves as the president of Rocklin Fine Arts.
