“Painting Anything Western” about sums it up for me. I have always been a ‘western’ person, worn jeans and boots, had horses and dogs around me… and lived ‘way out in the boonies’. The most ‘way out’ and inspirational place was the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming where my husband and I ranched and raised cattle, horses and hay. I have stored away many memories of special cow horses, Indian cowboys, dusty cattle drives and wild beautiful open country ..and I hope I am able to share some of my first-hand experiences and feelings of this time in my life through my artwork.
