AIN VESKE
As a painter, oil and watercolor are the premier mediums.

My artistry began in interior design which eventually led to studies of art and then to creative pursuits.

While working in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a gallery director, I enrolled in classes and workshops with some renown artists. From drawing in both pencil and ink I progressed to oil painting.

After returning to the San Francisco Bay Area I continued with a focus on landscape and contemporary composition.

More recently my art leans toward abstraction but evocative of deep feelings of our natural surroundings.

I have participated in numerous shows and galleries throughout California for many years and have presented four times on the Placer Artists Studio Tour.

Today I work in Placer County within varied groups of artists taking part in workshops, classes, demonstrations and gallery exhibitions. Currently I serve on the Board of Rocklin Fine Arts as membership chair and am often commissioned and exhibited in multiple locations throughout the West.
