Karen Sutton

A Lifetime Artist …

In 1975, after graduating from a technical school in Nashville, Tennessee, Karen started her career as an Architectural Draftsman. In time, she and her husband successfully developed and operated a Custom Home Design business for over 30 years here in California. After retiring from the business in 2010 Karen decided to invest time in graphic arts by using the computer, with it’s many programs, as her new tools. This developed her confidence in advertising, printing, four color processing, production and distribution.

In 2012 she continued her artistic education at Yuba College and graduated in 2014 with an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. It was there she returned to drawing with pencil, painting with brush, sculpting and then pyrography. Karen is now focused on her journey as a lifetime “Artist”.
