Prior to painting I was a professional photographer teaching across the country. At some point I wished to do something “more/different” with the images and stills so I decided to learn how to paint in oils. It has been a marvelous journey.

Artist Statement

I am a representational painter living and working in Granite Bay and Truckee, California. I enjoy showcasing vintage items often with a different perspective, capturing the patina of these everyday items. It is the history and use of the items that hold my attention.
