I love working with various fibers, fabrics, and papers because there are so many ways to explore combinations of color, texture, surface design, and construction techniques with them. My approach is generally spontaneous, so pieces evolve as I make choices during the process. Experimentation is a natural part of developing my work, as I ask the question, “What if I tried this…?”
