Reception for Natural Wonders Exhibit at Auburn City Hall Gallery
October 13, 2022 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Placer Artists Tour, Placer Land Trust and Auburn Arts Commission have partnered to bring you “Natural Wonders”, a plein air and photography exhibit inspired by Placer Land Trust’s Taylor Ranch/Big Hill Preserve in Auburn.
Please join us for a reception to meet the artists on Thursday, October 13 from 5 to 8pm.
Artists visited the preserve on July 16 to sketch, paint and photograph this beautiful preserve. Their works will be on display October 11 through December 9. Gallery hours are 9:00 – 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Placer Land Trust’s preserves protect critical unfragmented oak woodlands in the Raccoon Creek and Bear River watersheds and are part of one of the last relatively “wild” areas in western Placer County. The trails on these preserves meander past spectacular rock formations, the gently flowing Raccoon Creek, and panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada foothills and Sacramento Valley. Learn more about the preserves here.
