Paula Johns

I’ve enjoyed creative arts since I was a child, and have tried many different mediums -painting, stained glass, embroidering clothing and quilting to name just a few. When I moved to Newcastle 19 years ago, I had the opportunity to take a ceramics course in Lincoln, and I was hooked. What a great community of artists I met! I continued to take classes, and eventually started buying my own equipment. I became a person who not only buys dirt in 25 pound bags, but brings it into my house on purpose. I enjoy functional art such as bowls & mugs, yard art such as fish that swim through your plants , and silly whimsical critters that will make you smile. In addition, I create some sculpture pieces (primarily animals). My main goal is to have fun, and create things that will make you smile. I hope you stop by!
