Robert Chaponot started his career in photography in the Army, serving at the Pentagon, The Army Pictorial Center in New York City and then as a magazine editor on Okinawa. Later he spent 32 years working for the aerospace industry as the senior photographer for Lockheed Martin.
“My love of photography evolved from my love of nature. I like to look at a subject from many different angles, from the inside of a flower to the top of a bridge. Photography is a never-ending learning experience and I have a wonderful time experimenting with different techniques such as solarization, posterization, motion blur and infrared. I work in both black and white and color as each has its own rewards.”
