Color and texture are the visual ingredients which Rebecca Martinez loves. “Working with polymer clay is one of the best ways to experiment with these elements,” she notes. “The manipulation of the clay with my hands is very relaxing and soothing. The clay provides so many possibilities for color schemes and textures. I always have another idea for earrings, necklaces, journals, figures or accessories.” She is also fascinated with surface design; the creation of repeating patterns for fabric, wrapping paper and more.
