I am a retired high school art teacher (I can’t be old enough to retire!). Teaching art has been a great joy and has allowed me to explore a variety of mediums. It also helped me discover a passion for fused glass. I love fusing glass because of the texture of the glass, the intensity of the color, and the infinite variety of ways it can be used. My style tends to be illustrative and whimsical which also is enhanced by the glass. I have worked on several “art in public places” commissions as well as commissions for private collections across the U.S. My large studio is on my property between Newcastle and Lincoln. It allows tons of space to explore and create with glass as well as space for my multitude of animals – my inspiration. I love sharing my process and whimsy with people of all ages and teach fused glass classes whenever possible.
