Ardith has a BFA in 3 D design and an MFA in Costume Design She was a costume design assistant at the Royal National Theater in London. She has designed over 50 shows in her career. Some of her favorite shows include Gypsy, Cats, Taming of the Shrew, Treasure Island, Oklahoma and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She has awards from Dean Goodman -San Francisco and Elly Award- Sacramento. My textile designs were seem in the movie “Escape from L.A.”. She has used her costume design experience to design silk painting projects, felting. botanical printing, indigo, dying, shibori and leather Design/fabrication. She is a professor at William Jessup University teaching Costume design and designing the theater’s productions. Her textile designs can be viewed at Auburn Old Town Gallery, High Hand Gallery, Loomis, and The Artery at Davis, CA.
