Paula Johns

I’ve dabbled in a variety of art mediums throughout my life, but I got hooked on ceramics! I rarely try to make the same thing twice – there’s just too many interesting forms and color combinations to try. I love throwing mugs and bowls – often adding small hand sculpted details to them, while keeping the integrity of the form. The quirky sculptures get their inspiration from the amusing things I see in everyday life. Some are inspired by my own animals and others come from silly ideas. I have participated in the Auburn art gallery For the Love of Art for the past 2 years, and love working there and being in an art community on a regular basis.
