Barbara Davies

My paintings reflect my love of the California landscape. I am most happy when hiking through redwood forests, kayaking in Sierra Lakes and rivers, riding my bike through the hills or off- roading while looking for wild horses. I’m always ready with sketchbook and camera to capture a scene for a later painting. Nature conservancy and painting are my passions, and I’ve combined my love for both in my art. It is my hope, that in my own small way, my work will inspire others to help protect our environment.
