Creativity has always been a way of life for me, and painting, my first love. Most of my current work is acrylic mixed media, poured acrylic, and hand lettered signs. Lately my obsession has been painting birch trees and bodies of water, with layers of vintage sheet music and book pages to express their spiritual and emotional elements. My art is diverse and always evolving, but the constant tone echoing throughout each piece is the powerful inspiration I find in all of nature. I’d have to say my most favorite muses are the Northern California Coast, and my horse. Of course my cat, Sam, would expect credit too, for his important role in my art, but he wouldn’t think it’s necessary to mention my precious dog or any of the other creatures depicted in my art.
