About
I make functional pottery – mugs, vases, table fountains, etc, from stoneware clay that is fired to above 2000F. I work from my home studio and fire my pieces in my electric kiln. My work style is hand building with slabs and elaborate surface decorating with commercial glazes. I strive to combine my design and drawing skills with fine craftmanship in order to make my pots both utilitarian and beautiful.
