Karen Burns

I am a representational painter, painting from life and working with professional oils for my vibrant, classic style. I enjoy using everyday objects that have been worn by time and made weary with use. Still Life is what I enjoy most – everything from the compositional set up choosing the props, the underpainting, mixing colors, all the way to the final brush strokes and varnish. I enjoy creating beauty that others can enjoy in their home or office.
